Can we have Indegenous Language Day?

Nigeria has come of age and is ripe to be truly considered as a Giant that She is.A week ago,a secondary school celebrated the French Day whereby the French language was used to deliver poems,dramas,songs and recitations.There were translations of this language to the audience present.One can nearly bet that none of these students could speak their indigenous languages which is a symbol of anyone's identity.
It is with this in mind, I suggest that there should be a celebration of all the ethnic languages in a carnival like atmosphere whereby a day would be set aside for everyone to speak his or her indigenous language and a translation is done to ensure that We as Africans retain our identity and celebrate our roots.This is the greatest Injustice that the colonialist did to us,this is our chance to undo it.
